A bright, textured scene of 2 small fishing boats in shallow water. Layers of paint, ink and torn paper: cerulean and turquoise washes for water, cadmium red and lemon yellow boats.I have used graphite marks and collaged paper suggest weathered wood and rope. Thin glazes and titanium white highlights catch ripples and hulls. Stone quay in muted umbers and cool greys with printed textures.
