Moorish Temple came from a trip to the Alhambra in Spain. I made it with layered collage, inks and paint to create rich jewel tones. Geometric motifs and arches appear from washes of ultramarine and pomegranate, with gold and warm ochre recalling sunlit courtyards and tiles.
